| So now that the pan ams are over its back to "normal" life at the Fork. Actually, right now it is pretty quiet as it is the off season and Rocky is having his well deserved vacation which I promised him over and over again in Mexico!!!!! Now it is time to plan for the future! Well as much as the future can be planned for.... For the horses they are currently either on vacation or working on their dressage and show jumping for next season. We plan on going to Florida for 6 weeks this winter with all of the horses. We still have room for horses in training and students wanting to train with Rebecca. So if you and/or your horse would like to get away from the cold and come to sunny Florida contact myself or Rebecca at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . As for me I still have one more "big" event coming up. I have this tough mudder next weekend up in New Jersey (where they have already had snow!!!!!!) that Meg convinced me was going to be a great idea!!!! For those of you who do not know what a tough mudder is, it is a 10-12 mile race with obstacles approximately every mile. The obstacles include climbing walls and cargo nets, crawling under and over things, running through electric wires and fire, etc.... Piece of cake right??? I should be fine... I've been training..... sorta.... Wish me luck!!!! PS. I have posted a bunch of pictures from my trip to the Pan Ams on my facebook! Click here to view my PanAm Games 2011 Album!!!! |
